Errr...

The week has been pretty normal yet abnormal. Pasar malam on Tuesday, another lame night. Went to my ex-school's afternoon CF on Wednesday. (thanks Constance for inviting us =)). And lastly ISCF yesterday afternoon.. The rest of the time were spent at home..

I'm gonna miss Ipoh loads, and the people too... I can say that it's exactly a month before I leave for college. Though Ipoh to KL is just like going to the toilet (according to *cough* someone. LOL), some things are definitely going to change.

On another note, the highlight of the week was probably the Champs League final. Didn't watch it. The next morning, I woke up, rushed upstairs to check my phone; was expecting a msg from Phil for the results. Sadly, my phone had died. Rushed to my brother's room instead and asked him to check the result for me. And my dreams came true. I really had dreams, TWO, that Barca would win, and they did... Haha.

Dear MU fans, you shouldn't be disappointed, you can't expect too much, and just gotta be satisfied bout what you've achieved. Is that too much to ask? Lol. (I had better stop to prevent myself from getting bashed up.)

Idol Hope

If you don't already know, Kris Allen became the 8th American Idol. I never really followed the show this season.. Season 7 was enough for me. Yet towards the end, I saw their performances and definitely wasn't a fan of Lambert... Danny and Kris. =)

To me, Adam is like a sign of the New Age.. Need I say more? I won't say anything about being gay, but the way he goes about, it shows.. A few of his performances were very disturbing, check out Ring Of Fire if you want to know what I mean.. Though I won't deny the fact that he has good talent.

Kris, a worship leader in New Life Church in his hometown. He seems to be a pretty decent guy and is open about his faith. He has left a mark in the show.. Even one of the judges said that he's the type of singer who gets the message across and touches people's hearts and he has always been himself..

I bet everyone thought that Lambert would have won. And to see how the unexpected happened is somehow very uplifting for me.. Being gay wasn't much of a big thing in America. And you know how there are people very much against Christians...

Of course, it might be just a show.. But I'm still glad that the outcome has proven how things aren't always what they seem and unexpected things do happen... Praise God for Kris and let's hope he would continue being who God has made him to be and not conform to the world... God bless. =)

You're 21..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STV!

My very first post about and for a person. And since it's your birthday today, here goes. =)

Stephen, my dear bro..

It seems like it was just yesterday when we fought and now, you're 21..

I still remember the times when we were young.. We used to argue and fight.. Staying up till midnight to watch WWF.. And then trying out those 'stunts' in the room when everyone else was asleep. Hah.. And the scars we gave each other too.

To tell you the truth, I used to wonder what it would be like to have an older sister, but I realized that having you and Sam were such a blessing already.. Not to mention our little John now...

There were times I used to dislike you when we fought. But thanks to your scoldings and correction, I grew stronger and tougher..

3 years ago, when you left, I was devastated... To have the closest one in the family to leave was such a painful thought.. To know that everything was about to change from that point onward.. And the fact that we got much closer before you left didn't make things any better...

But as time went by, I got used to it.. And I was glad every time you came back.. I still remember all the long talks we had before sleeping. You were the one who understood me most.. And even though I don't say it, you know when I'm in pain. You were always the stronger one, and because of that, I felt I needed to be too..

Sorry to sound so emo.. But it's a fact that we can't go back to those times, it's only the memories we keep.. I'll cherish them and I hope you will remember them too..

For remembrance..

Then...

Then...

And now..

Thanks Stv, for all that you've done.. You, along with Sam are the best brothers one could ever have!! Your advice.. Your teasings, though it annoyed me sometimes, it was still fun.. Haha. And not to mention how you can read my mind.. Congrats for graduating.. We're proud of you. =). Always remember that God will sustain you through your hardest times. He will never fail and has it all planned for you... All the best in your future and have a great birthday! =) (And don't forget to tell me when you find that certain someone... After all, it's not something new for us to share about. =P)

p.s: God bless and we miss you loads. =/

Lion City

Went down to Malacca on Saturday morning, had alot to eat for lunch. My aunt who is a teacher ordered Malay food for us from her canteen caterer... Chicken Rendang, Sambal prawns and 100 satay for 6 ppl... Went to some mall in Malacca at night to change currency.. The next morning, we headed to Singapore. Dropped in Stv's place to keep his things and took some of his unwanted stuff back.. Lol.. Met a crazy, angry aunty there who tested my patience.. I passed the test! No more details here. Haha. We went for the 11.30 service at my bro's church: Trinity Christian Centre.. The worship was great and sermon was simple to understand yet so vital and important for us..

Pictures now..

Pictures my dad took when we reached Sg.. That's the Singapore Flyer btw..

Lunch was at Marina Square.. My dad made me pose. And since I'm not a camwhore, I just stand la right??

We were checking out places to eat.. And we found....

Ryoichi Sushi.. 6.60 for a set meal. Which was pretty reasonable.. And they gave ice-cream as well and I had to break the wooden spoon. My bro pointed out how no one broke it except me. Wonder what that proves...

This was what I ordered.. Spent some time digging out onions... LOL. But it was nice..

Mother's Day.. She was happy =)

Seen it before?

Take a closer look... Those are macaroons.. Very nice and sweet.. Should try it.. =)

Dinner was at Fish & Co at dunno wat plaza at Orchard Road.. Seafood platter for two.. Good stuff..

Sole Picatta.. The fries were real good.

Monday morning went to Orchard Road again.. Plaza Singapura; had breakfast and lunch there... Lunch was at Mos Burger. Good food, again.. And I was craving for fries from Long John Silver's.. So we went there right after lunch.. At 3pm, we were already at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, bro's ex poly.. Haha.. Grad officially began at 4 and ended an hour later.. I expected it to be longer but it was good anyhow.

The Auditorium

Was walking around the campus taking pics.. Their new cafeteria..

This is where I SHOULD be at right now had I not changed my decision.. Strain your eyes to figure out what it says..

Sam took this pic.. Since I couldn't go there and there's no way I can right now, might as well just take a picture..

All in all, a very good trip.. That's all for now. =). And Stv, I owe you a post. Coming soon. Hah. -out-

What's Done Is Done...

When you make a decision, you go for it, and when it's done, it's done...

Even if you regret, it won't change anything. You made the decision..

Just got back from my Malacca-Singapore trip this afternoon. Was a good one. =)..

Pictures and story tomorrow.. And something related to the title.. Need to sleep now.. -out-

Ant Attack!!

Ignore the title.

Wait, it's true!

I on-ed my laptop 2 hours ago and was shocked to see 5-6 ants crawling around the laptop screen... I quickly tried to sweep them off with my fingers but I failed to.. It didn't occur to me that the ants were actually INSIDE the screen.... Which means I can't do a single thing about it. How saddening.. =(..

Now they are away from it but one ant has died and is still stuck on the screen... Argh.

ANYWAY, it was my last day at work today.. Worked exactly 58 days. Haha, that's after removing the weekends, public holidays and the days I took off.. I have learnt alot from this experience.. And due to the ant, I have no mood to blog any further.. Kidding.

Will be going to Malacca tomorrow morning, Singapore on Sunday, and back to Malacca on Monday night after my bro's grad ceremony and back to Ipoh on Tuesday. All these without my lil bro. PEACE! LOL. Will be taking pictures, hopefully. =). till then!
